Please remember, most images don't have logos or watermarks, so most images are good enough for framing.   You can enjoy them and let others do the same when you borrow them. Tell everyone where you found them if and when you post them elsewhere.


Another way to barrow images is to cause other websites to directly links to this site for the image. Not too cool for a free site like this one.  It wastes the bandwidth. Copy the images to your hard drive and then upload them to another server. This way www.squaredump .com stays online, and it keeps the costs down.  A program called "hot link protection" stops this, but is such a pain when I purposely intend to link my own images to another website.

It's pretty easy to right click the mouse and use the "save image as" on to your hard drive. And then later upload the image to another site. Everybody does it. And the way I see it, if the original author doesn't like it, they have several options to them to protect their original material. One such method is to place a watermark or logo on each image.  This way if people see one of my images on another site, they will know who created it and where is came from.

Sometimes the images look so good it's a shame to mess the image up with a logo plastered all over it.  So we put it off to the side someplace, or not at all.
